Be careful with your words.

What would you do if you were insulted verbally and physically for no reason (other than being Muslim?)

What would you do if your mum got hit with eggs by some youth because she wears hijab?

The Sunnah is to ignore the haters and reply to evil with forgiveness and kindness.

One woman made a poem about the Prophet (Sall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam) abusing him, ridiculing him and calling him names. She would call him “Muthamam” which is basically the opposite of Muhammad.
Muhammad meaning the praised one and Muthamam meaning the dispraised one.
So the companions came to the Prophet (Sall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam) and said “You have to respond.” The Prophet (Sall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam) said she is talking about some guy called Muthamam and my name is Muhammad.

This is our role model. It’s up to you how you respond but remember whatever happens to you, does not give you the right to attack others. You are Muslim, you are different. Even if they insult Islam. Even if they insult the prophet (Sall Allāhu ʿalay-hi wa-sallam) and even if they insult Allah SWT.

Allah says in the Qur’an, “The servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily and when the ignorant address them they say [words of] peace.” Surah 25 Ayah 63.

A’isha (RA) reported: The Prophet (saw) said, “Verily, gentleness is not in anything except that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it.”

Always be gentle. You won’t regret it.
